How The Stem Cell Facelift Reduces Wrinkles & Regrows Collagen

Fine lines and wrinkles do not appeal to many of us and every year, thousands of people undergo various treatments to help reduce and prevent these obvious signs of aging. Many of these treatments involve surgery and can be quite risky.

Thankfully, there is a new procedure which is yielding positive results in regenerating a youthful appearance, and this is the Stem cell facelift. The Stem Cell facelift procedure has generated much buzz within the media and celebrity community. In the video above TV star, Ali Landry describes undergoing the procedure and the impeccable results are clear for all to see.

What Is the Stem Cell Facelift?
The procedure uses Platelet Rich Plasma or PRP which is a concentration of platelets. These are cells found in the blood. Platelets are tasked with helping the blood to clot and they have been widely used in various treatments. The facelift, therefore, involves drawing of the patient’s blood which is then concentrated through centrifugation in a lab and mixed with the Stem Cells.

Platelet rich plasma also contains growth factors that stimulate healing and these are used to rejuvenate the skin. In this case, the platelets work together with the Stem cells to increase collagen, angiogenesis, and the formation of new cells which help improve the texture of the skin, its tightness and youthfulness.

Stem Cell Facelift: The Procedure
There are various steps considered when performing the Stem Cell facelift. Like we mentioned, platelet rich plasma cells are derived from the blood and the patient will therefore have some blood drawn from the arm. This blood is then taken to the laboratory where it is placed in a centrifuge. The serum, white blood cells, red blood cells and platelets are then separated so as
to create a concentration of the platelets and growth factors.

The platelet rich plasma is then mixed with the Stem Cells and is then injected into the face and neck. As you can see, this is a pretty simple procedure and the entire process should not last an hour.

Stem Cell facelifts are minimally invasive procedures and it’s safe to say that they are one of the safest ways to get a facelift in this day and age of synthetic fillers. The treatment has effectively worked to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, scarring and various facial imperfections making it a viable solution.

Protocol
Our protocol consists of a two-day period, including the injection of a minimum of 50 million cord tissue-derived MSCs (Mesenchymal Stem Cells) directly into the face and neck. The procedure takes approximately 45 minutes. The protocol is minimally invasive to the patient and has very little downtime. Patients normally travel home two days following their scheduled appointment.

Treatment goals
The primary goal of our protocol is the marked reduction in wrinkles and fine lines on the face. Stem Cells stimulate the production of collagen, repair damaged tissues and increase blood and oxygen flow to the face.

Stem cells are uniquely and intrinsically able to migrate to sites of damage and inflammation in the body. Studies have shown that stem cells are able to orchestrate the repair and regeneration of deteriorated tissues, as well as modulate the immune system, to promote better health.

Depending on the ailment or the patient’s initial condition, the benefits of stem cell therapy can include a reduction in harmful symptoms, the slowing of the progression of the disease, and an overall increase in quality of life.
